A Message of Thanks and Future Improvements to the Assassin Razor

Dear Valued Customers,
It has been Three month since the Assassin razor entered the presale phase. Thanks to your tremendous support, we have sold over 300 complete razors and more than 200 individual baseplates.
First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude. The support from the community has truly exceeded my expectations, and for that, I am deeply thankful.
Along with this growth, collecting and learning from your feedback and experiences has been one of my top priorities. Since the start of our global testing phase, I've been paying close attention to the comments and insights shared by users worldwide.
Based on the feedback so far, I believe the razor handle requires improvements, and may even need a redesign. During the original design of the Assassin, I overlooked one detail that has led to a limitation in the handle's performance.
Some of you who have already used the razor may have noticed this: our baseplate features a rather deep recessed design. While this was originally intended to reduce weight, this 3-mm-deep recess causes the handle to sit 3 mm higher when attached. As a result, the overall positions of the grip and lather channels are also raised—a detail I missed during the initial design phase.
During our internal testing, the focus was primarily on the shaving experience, which is why this issue wasn't identified earlier.
Another area for improvement is the lather channel. Although we haven’t received specific feedback about it yet, upon further internal evaluation, we believe the current drainage design does not meet the top-tier standard we aim for. Accumulated lather can, to some extent, affect the smoothness of the shave.
The third improvement involves the safety bar. The current version has only a modestly angled slope. For those who prefer riding the bar while shaving, this may not provide the ideal glide, so we plan to redesign the slope for a smoother experience.
Lastly, we are also working on enhancing the smoothness of the top cap. A specially designed guiding groove will be added. This groove will serve two purposes: improving razor glide and, through its unique flow-guiding structure, gently stretching the skin as the razor passes over it—thereby increasing efficiency, especially for those who shave with the cap.
We are naming this upgraded future version the Assassin Master Edition. I am confident that these refinements will help the Assassin evolve into its ultimate form.
We are already preparing for these changes. The development of the Master Edition may take some time—likely around six months before it becomes available.
As a token of our appreciation, customers who purchased the standard edition of the Assassin will receive a special discount on the Master Edition upon its release—a small gesture to thank you for your early support.
Thank you once again for taking the time to read this update.
Best regards,
Carry
